4 Aug 1916: Involvement AIF WW1, Corporal, 226, Alf Winterton was my great uncle. I wrote a book about him called “Six Bob Trooper”. He was never at Pozieres as described in the bio. He was at Gallipoli and the in Egypt and the Sinai. Killed at Romani.
