Died 22 December 1914 of a fractured skull as a result of an accident
"COLLISION WITH HORSE FATAL
That Arthur Richard Ogden, a member of the Expeditionary Force, met his death by misadventure was the finding of Dr R. H. Cole, the Coroner, at the Morgue on January 5. Evidence was given that Ogden was struck by a horse attached to a jinker while crossing the road near Prince's Bridge at night oh December 22. The occupants of the jinker stated that Ogden was drunk, and the Coroner said that he had no reason to doubt their evidence."
