Son of Harry and Elizabeth Cox of 20 Manners Road, Ilkstone, Derbyshire. Brother of Edith Millward nee Cox
Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
He was able to speak thre languages as well as being ab le to write shorthand. When he enlisted he was managing a property in the Sale area
