CWGC has his death age as 24.
Death Certificate states his age as 30. Age at attestation was 28 in 1916. 30 is probably right .
His brother was Private Dougald Graham.

Died on this date – 13th November..... Private John Frederick Paul Graham was born at Motherwell, near Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland around 1894. He came to Australia when he was 18 years of age, according to information supplied by his father for the Roll of Honour.
John Frederick Paul Graham stated he was a 28 year old, single, Accountant from Jumbunna, Victoria when he enlisted on 28th November, 1916 with the Australian Imperial Force. He embarked from Melbourne on HMAT Ballarat (A70) on 19th February, 1917 & disembarked at Devonport, England on 25th April, 1917. Private Graham was posted to 2nd Training Battalion at Durrington, Wiltshire on 26th April, 1917 for further training.
Private Graham was sent sick to Bulford Hospital, Wiltshire on 20th February, 1918 & detached to C.T.D. (Convalescent Training Depot) at Parkhouse on 23rd February, 1918. He was posted to 1st Training Brigade at Sutton Veny on 11th April, 1918. He was medically classified as A3 – fit for Overseas Training Camp.
Private Graham was sent sick to Sutton Veny Hospital, Wiltshire from 1st Training Brigade Headquarters on 23rd July, 1918. He was transferred to 1st A.D.H. (Australian Dermatological Hospital) at Bulford on 3rd August, 1918 & discharged to duty on 7th August, 1918. Private Graham was discharged & posted to 1st Training Brigade on 7th August, 1918.
Private Graham was admitted to Military Hospital, Sutton Veny on 6th November, 1918 with Influenza.
Private John Frederick Paul Graham died on 13th November, 1918 at Military Hospital, Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, England from Influenza & Pneumonia.

Private Graham was laid to rest on 19 Nov 1918 in Airbles Cemetery in Dalziel, Scotland.
From the burial report: -
"The deceased soldier was accorded a full Military funeral, with Firing Party, [Scottish Rifles ] Bugler and Pallbearers being in attendance. The coffin was draped with the Australian Flag, and surmounted by several wreaths sent from family, friends and military colleagues. The “Last Post” was sounded at the graveside, and the burial service was conducted by the Rev.Thomas Marshall. Administrative Headquarters, A.I.F. and London were represented at the funeral, as well as relatives and friends."
He was well-known in Motherwell, and was the only surviving son of Mr. Peter Graham, J.P., Chairman of Dalziel Parish Council, who has now lost both sons in the war, the younger son being killed in action on 12 April 1918 in France. He was Private D. Graham, Service Number 46843 of the 1st Bn.Northumberland Fusiliers, aged 22.

He was 30 and a son of Peter and Mary Graham of Calder Street in Motherwell, Scotland.
John emigrated to Australia at age 18, according to information supplied by his father for the Roll of Honour. An accountant by trade, from Jumbunna, Victoria, Australia, 28-year-old John enlisted on 28 Nov 1916 in the Australian Imperial Force( A.I.F.) and joined its 5th Infantry Battalion, 24th Reinforcements. He attested that he had previously been rejected as unfit for His Majesty’s Service due to his poor eyesight.
Private Graham was posted to Recruit Battalion, 'A' Company in Royal Park on 6 Dec 1916. Then he was first transferred to 1st (Depot) Battalion, A.I.F. in Royal Park on 19 Dec 1916, followed by a transfer on 19 Jan 1917 to the 24th Reinforcements of 5th Infantry Battalion.
He embarked from Melbourne with his regiment on HMAT 'Ballarat (A70)' on 19 Feb 1917, disembarking at Devonport, England on 25 April 1917.
Private John Graham is commemorated on the Motherwell War Memorial which is situated in the Duchess of Hamilton Park in Motherwell; his name in included under “Overseas Forces”.
