Son of Robert Hobson Sheridan of Lerida Station, Collector, NSW. Brother of Ernest Ewing Sheridan who returned to Australia on 13 December 1918 having served with the 35th Battalion and John Rawdon Sheridan who returned to Australia on 21 March 1919 having served with the 12th Field Artillery Regiment and Gilbert Hobson Sheridan of Roma, QLD
