OBITUARY
MR. HAROLD S. KELF.
Mr. Harold Singleton Kelf, well-known citizen of Scone for many years, and for a long term manager of the Scone branch of the Bank of New South Wales, passed away in the Scott Memorial Hospital early this morning.
The deceased gentleman, who was 67 years of age, had seen service in the same financial institution at Quirindi, Singleton and other centres. He entered retirement in Scone.
Mr. Kelf had been in a somewhat indifferent state of health for some time past, but his condition worsened in recent weeks. Mrs. Kelf, prominent public and charity worker in Scone survives, as does one son, Dr. William Kelf, of Boorowa.
The remains will be taken to Sydney tonight, and the funeral service will be held at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium on Monday next.
