Next of kin given as his sister Lizzie Badcock of Paddington, near Alberton, SA.

Husband of Florence Oakley nee Sargeant of Kenley Street, Port Adelaide, SA. William and Florence married during 1919c

Commenced return to Australia on 26 September 1917 aboard HT Borda disembarking on 21 November 1917 at Melbourne then by train to Adelaide.
