Alexander Fletcher was born in Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh in 1871. After 44 years of unknown activity, he enlisted to fight in World War 1 as an Australian soldier in 1915. During the same year that he began his career as a soldier, Fletcher was taken out of action by unknown causes.
