Son of Annie Colliver formerly Simons of 'Brixton', Anglo Road, Cammpsie, NSW

During 1920c Roy married Alice Gough in Ballina, NSW

HMAT Carpentaria on which he embarked was recalled while enroute to France. He was then trans shipped to HT Riverina to complete his return to Australia disembarking on 18 November 1918
