Add my storyBiography contributed by Stephen Brooks
Henry Hobbs was one of four sons of Robert and Fanny Hobbs of Mendooran, New South Wales, who served overseas during WW1. The father, Robert, had passed away during 1900.
Henry served with the Light Horse in the Middle East and was invalided home to Australia with malaria during December 1918.
His two brothers, 1933 Pte. Arthur Hobbs 45th Battalion AIF and 1664 Pte. Charles Hobbs 54th Battalion AIF, were both killed in action in the space of six weeks during 1917.
