Mr. P. C. Gogler Dies Suddenly
Mr. Phillip Carl Alwyn Gogler, an old well known and respected resident of Port Augusta, died suddenly at his home on Hospital Road early this week. Deceased, who was 62 years of age, retired from the Commonwealth Railways where he was employed as a boilermaker ahout 2 years ago. Mr Gogler aopeared to be in normal health on Monday evening but was not noticed about the premises the following day. Neighbors decided to make investigations in the evening and he was found dead in bed. Mrs. Gogler had just arrived in Melbourne on a holiday and returned to Adelaide by the first plane on Wednesday.
The funeral was conducted at the local cemetery on Thursday afternoon. Mr. W. H. Forth conducted the service at the graveside.
