George Fox who was kille din action at Anzac on 2nd June 1915 was the son of Mr. Francis Fox. He was born in 1896 and came to the School in 1909. He left us in 1911 and had been in an office in Melbourne, but when war broke out he enlisted and entered with great zest into his work with the 5th Battery Field Artillery. He embarked with the first Expeditionary Force and landed at anzac with his battery. He was killed whilst engage gathering bushes for the purpose of concealing the gun. A rufle bullet strick him, causing the injury which resulted in his death.
