Biography

"Information has been received of the death, on 10th September, of Pte. H. J. Stevens, third son of Mrs. and late Mr. H. Stevens, of Nerrina, in Egypt, from diphtheria. He enlisted in Ballarat in February last, and was 18 years of age. Prior to joining the A.I.F. he was employed by Mr. A.
