Add my storyBiography contributed by Faithe Jones
At the time of his enlistment in 1918 Claude was single and a student. His father William Ernest Fraser had died and his mother, Mary Leslie Frost, had since married Thomas Armour Clark. Mary and Thomas Clarke lived at Moreton Vista, Redcliffe. Claude married Marjorie Gladys Leitch in 1925. He had a small shop at Redcliffe before moving to Bardon in Brisbane. Claude operated the first self-service shop in Australia, the Brisbane Cash and Carry Store, in 1923.
