1210 Warrant Officer Charles Wesley Brick was employed as an Orderly at the Old Men's Home, Claremont when he enlisted on 10 September 1914. He embarked on HMAT A55 Kyarra on 14 December 1914 and returned on 4 June 1919. Mentioned in Despatches Commonwealth Gazette No 174, 11 October 1917.
Charles Wesley Brick died in 1954 and is buried at Karrakatta He was born in Ulverston, Lancashire, England he arrived as an assisted migrant in 1908 .He returned to his pre war job and lived at The Old Men's home with his wife Lily Elizabeth she died in 1931 and is buried at Karrakatta They had a daughter Patricia born in 1922 . Charles retired to Rolystone
