Mr J. C. McPhee, O.B.E.,
Deputy Commissioner of Repatriation in Victoria. He was educated at Grenville College, Ballarat, and at Melbourne University. Prior to the war he was a member of the Presbyterian ministry and during the war he served as chaplain in France and Gallipoli. He became a Special Magistrate for War Pensions in 1917, secretary to the Repatriation Commission in 1920, and he has been Deputy Commissioner for Repatriation and War Pensions in Victoria since 1926.
