Kenneth John McEwin lived in Glen Ewin, Houghton, South Australia. He had father named Robert McEwin. His marital status was single and his job before the war was a Clerk.
Kenneth McEwin enlisted for war on the 9th of June 1915 at the age of 21, and embarked from Adelaide on board HMAT A68 Anchises on 2 September 1915. His unit was the 50th battalion and his rank was Sergeant. On the 12th of June 1916 he disembarked in France in the city of Marseilles. At the end of the war Kenneth John McEwin received 3 medals which consisted of a Star medal, British War Medal and lastly a Victory Medal.
He returned to Australia on the 23rd of June 1919, and he died 40 years later on the 1st of February 1959.
