After three or four years of great suffering, the result of wounds and gas received in the service of his country, Mr. Albert Bertram Cyril Archer passed peacefully away in the Mount Bischoff Provident Hospital on Saturday morning last. Rather quiet, but always of a cheery and kind disposition, he had many friends in this district. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, and many followed the remains to their last resting place. Among the mourners were several of the deceased's relatives, also members of Loyal Bischoff Lodge, M.U., I.O.O.F., and of Davies Lodge, No. 25, T.C., of which bodies deceased had been a member for many years.
