Lillian was the daughter of Robert Campbell Riley and Annie Isobel Riley nee Cox.
Lilian enlisted as a Staff Nurse with the Australian Army Nursing Service on 8.10.1915 and embarked on 11.11.1915 per “Orsova”. Service in Egypt and France. Promoted to Sister on 1.10.1918. Returned to Australia on 28.8.1919” per “Kanowna” On Duty. Discharged 10.1.1920.

Lilian passed away on 19.10.1986. Her remains were cremated at Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium and collected.
