SAPPER REYNOLDS.
Sapper Frederick Austin Reynolds, who was killed in action, was well known and respected in the Manly district. He was 21 years of age, and was born in New Zealand, but spent all his life in Sydney. Sapper Reynolds was an electrician in connection with the military forces and was stationed at the Submarine Mining Station, Chowder Bay. He was a life-saver at the Seagull Club, South Steyne, and was responsible for saving several lives.
