His parents were George Henry and Margaret Eleanor nee Vickers.
He along two brothers and five of his step brothers were ANZACS.
Herbert William Cooke (Gallipoli) , Albert Edward Cooke(Queensland), Jabez Abraham (France), Leonard Abraham (Queensland), Cyril Frank Abraham (France), Eric Kingsley Abraham (Queensland) and Gilbert Harry Abraham (Queensland).
