Obituary
ALBERT HENRY GEDDES
The death occurred suddenly at his home on 29th May of Mr. Albert Henry Geddes, aged 66 years. The late Mr. Geddes was the third son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Geddes of "Hobden." Deceased served three years overseas with the 5th U. G. Company AIF and saw active service on the Somme and in Flanders. He also served with a garrison battalion in the second world war. A widow and family of seven , children survive, viz. David, Geoffrey, Clifford, Thomas, Ruth, Margaret and Joyce. Mr. George Geddes (Womboyne) and Mr. William Geddes (Wilsholm) are brothers and Mrs. Winter (Irriwilbin) Mrs. J. Winter (Borah) and Mrs. A. Collins- Manilla are sisters. Two sisters Mrs T. Abberfield and Mrs, F. Bowman, predeceased him. The funeral service iat St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and at' the graveside was conducted by Rev. John Mitchell.
