Herbert Charles Bennett – Biography

Herbert Charles Bennett arrived at World War I on the 16th of November 1915 with in the first couple of hours he ran away to unknown area and this become an often thing that he would do. When Herbert Charles Bennett arrived back he had to labour work but after a couple days he would run away.
Herbert Charles Bennett was born in Adelaide, South Australia, and listed his address as 6 Church Avenue, Norwood, South Australia. He was the son of Mark Bennett and Minnie Morrison. The birth date was not collected for World War I personnel, rather their age and months was declared.
Herbert Charles Bennett's religion was Methodist. His enlistment date was 16th of November 1915. At the time Herbert Charles Bennett was single and he was only 22. When Herbert Charles Bennett arrived back in Adelaide he had no injuries.
Herbert Charles Bennett didn’t win an award for his actions at the World War I, which might be because of his bad record with running away a couple times a month and always having sick days.
