He was 24 and the son of Charles Henry and Elizabeth Ramsay, of Mathoura, New South Wales. Half brother of Private ALFRED JAMES AUGUSTUS STEWART, Service Number 1560, 24th Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F. who died in Malta 26/12/1915
