Biography

"...60 Private Ernest William Tozer, Regimental Signallers-Headquarters, 31st Battalion, of Nundah, Qld, aged 18 years. Pte Tozer enlisted on 3 September 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Wandilla on 9 November 1915. He later served as a lance corporal. He was killed in action on 19 July 1916 near Fleurbaix, France. His brother, Lieutenant Henry John Tozer MSM, 15th Battalion, also served in the AIF." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
