OBITUARY.
MR EDWARD CLARKE.
At Forbes hospital this morning the death took place of Edward Clarke, aged 32. Deceased, who was a resident of Calarie, was admitted to the institution the previous day suffering from pneumonia in a bad form. The late Mr Clarke was on active service for a considerable period. He leaves a widow and family of young children. The late Mr Clarke had a block at Ooma soldiers' settlement, and his residence was almost completed. They were residing at Calarie until the homestead was finished. The widow and two children are deserving of the deepest sympathy in their sad loss. One child is two years of age and the other eleven weeks. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon, when the remains will be interred in the Church of England portion of Forbes cemetery.
