DEATHS
ROONEY. —August 15, 1945 (suddenly) at Canberra, James Albert, dearly loved husband of Elizabeth and loving father of John. Aged 47 years.

FUNERALS
ROONEY. —The relatives and friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Rooney and John, of 29 Flinders Way, Griffith, are informed that the funeral of her late dearly loved husband and his loving father will leave the Canberra Community Hospital at 4 p.m. THIS THURSDAY for the Returned Soldiers' Portion of the Canberra Public Cemetery.

ROONEY. —Ex-servicemen are requested to attend the funeral of their late esteemed comrade, James Albert Rooney, 2nd Field Signal Company, which will leave Canberra Community Hospital at 4 p.m. TO-DAY, for interment in the Returned Soldiers portion of the Canberra General Cemetery. A special bus will leave the Giles St. bundy at 3.30 p.m., proceeding to Hospital via No. 4 Route, and will thence follow the cortege to the Cemetery.
