"...Sister Annie Isabella 'Nance' Griffiths, Queen Alexandra's Imperial Medical Nursing Service Reserve (QAIMNSR). Sister Griffiths served with the QAIMNSR from July 1915 to June 1916. She then resigned and enlisted in the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) in May 1917. Staff Nurse Griffiths served in Salonika, Greece, working in British hospitals from August 1917 until December 1918. In January 1919, prior to returning to Australia, she was attached to Australian General Hospitals in England." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
