George James STRINGFELLOW was born in Brisbane, Queensland on 17th June 1895

His parents were Gervase STRINGFELLOW & Eva Alice GAYLER

He enlisted on 29th February, 1916 and embarked from Brisbane on the HMAT Itonus on 8th August, 1916 with the 25th Infantry Battalion, 14th Reinforcements

George was Killed in Action at Bullecourt in France on 3rd May, 1917 - no known grave
