Son of William Edward & Sarah Ann LIBBIS of 24 Nelson Street, Coburg, Vic.
Stretcher bearer and went into action at Fleurbaix on 01 Apri 1916 and marched to the Somme Front. Took part in engagements at Contalmaison, Pozieres and Moquet Farm. Wounded in right shoulder 21 August 1916 and invalided home September 19.
