Son of Alfred Patrick George and Maude Mary CONWAY, Canley Vale, New South Wales.
Contracted Influenza and was invalided to No 1 Southern General Hospital, Edgbeston Section, England. Recovered and whilst returning to duty contrcted illness and was invalided to No 1 General Hosptial, Rouen, but owing to the signing of the armistice did not return to duty on recovery.
