The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, page 174, & 264. Prior to the war he was a labourer of Alberton SA. He enlisted 31st Jan 1917 aged 18 years. He served with the 10th Infantry Battalion, survived the war, and departed the UK for home 6th Sept 1919.
It is obvious that he also served in WW2, but no details are held in the above book.
