Stephen Henry Edward BERRILL was born in London, UK in 1897

His parents were Stephen Campbell BERRILL & Ellen Jane KNELL who married in England in 1894

He enlisted in Newcastle, NSW on 1st July, 1916 and embarked with the 35th Infantry Battalion, 4th reinforcements on 17th October, 1916 from Sydney on the HMAT Borda

Stephen was Killed in Action on 23rd July, 1917 in Messines, Belgium
