When Trevor Murray Baylis was born on 22 September 1891 in Marrickville, New South Wales, his father, Henry, was 30 and his mother, Maud, was 26. He married Elfrieda Mary Martin on 24 April 1920. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 10 June 1960 in San Rafael, California, USA, at the age of 68.
