Robert suffered a Cerebral Haemorrhage and died aged 51 on 12 February 1936 at his home at 20 Maud Street, Newstead, Brisbane.
Inquest on 27 Feb 1936. By M.J. Hickey, Deputy Coroner.
He was buried on 13 February 1936 at 3.45 in the Toowong Cemetery. Portion 7A Section 222. Cannon & Cripps by Rev. E. Barry.
