Jeff Farquhar born September 1898 Ulmarra, NSW, and was a soldier during the first World War. He enlisted with the 8th Reinforcements, 34th Battalion AIF on the 7th May 1917 at Grafton, N.S.W., he achieved the final rank of Private until he was finally discharged from the AIF in London on the 4th December 1919. Not much is known about Jeff Farquhar's life after he was discharged in 1919 but we know that he got married to Florence Eldridge on the 5th of October 1919 at the age of 21 just after he was discharged. No documents that show that Florence or Jeff instituted a divorce so the most likely scenario is that he and Florence lived happily ever after.
