Son of Henry Daniel and Anne Naude of Bloemfontein, South Africa.
Next of kin was given as his brother Frank De Villiers of Cape Town, South Africa.
Commenced return to Australia on 28 June 1919 aboard HT Madras disembarking on 3 August 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane.
