Son of John James Quine and Elizabeth Quine nee Carbis of Ballarat, Victoria.

Brother of Francis Grey Quine who returned to Australia on 8 March 1916 having served with the 4th Battalion and William John Quine who died of wounds on 10 April 1918 while serving with the 6th Field Company Engineers. Buried in Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery Extension Plot 11, Row K, Grave 17

Husband of Elizabeth L. Quine of Evans Street, Kogarah, Sans Souci, NSW
