Haggar Charles William: Service Noumber - 3156 : Place of Birth - Bombala NSW : Place of Enlistment - Goulburn NSW : Next of Kin -(Father) Haggar Charles.

The Rev. D.D. Curruthers on Saturday conveyed the sad news to Mr C. W. Haggar, Killarney Vale, of the death from wounds of his son Private Charles Haggar which took, place on 13 September. Private Haggar was in the 55th Battalion, and left for the front two years ago.

Much simpathy will be felt for the family, in their grief at the loss of such a promising you son.

Charles William Haggar was the Great Grandson of Eden/Monaro Pioneers - James Haggar b. 1818 Greater Essex, England d. 1902 Bombala, NSW and Mary Ann Cowell b. 1817 Rook End, Debden Essex, England d. 3 Aug 1894 Bombala, NSW.
