Son of Robert and Jane CAMERON of Merbein, Vic.
Five times rejected, but accepted on 6th try; after 2 illnesses in camp was discharged as medically unfit. Dropping his first name (Kenneth), offered himself again and was accepted; promoted Reg QMS in England; relinquished his position and went to France as a private.
