Staff nurse MF Ferry of Pompoota is a lady whose services have earned the sincere and abiding graditude of soldier settlers on the Lower Murray and in recognition of the spendid work this lady has performed and is carrying out. The State Board of RSL have expressed their gradite and appreciation to Nurse Ferry in the name of the returned men of the State.
In 1921 Sister Mary F Ferry passed the examination to become a sanitary inspector.
