Add my storyBiography contributed by Beverley Stocker
Son of Elizabeth. Husband of Frances, whose address is given as Mitchellville. Presumably Philip was farming there. Naming the exact hometown on the soldier's Attestation paper could be difficult. Addresses used were "via Franklin Harbour" "West Coast" or one of the many tiny settlements in the area-generally one house, a community hall and/or church or sometimes sports grounds.
His name is inscribed on the Mitchellville WW1 Honour Board.
