Biography contributed by John Edwards

Are You the Family of George Cousin?

My Uncle was a coin collector and has since sold his collection, all bar a 1832 5 Franc coin which has an inscription;

"1660 - G.A.J. COUSIN - SOMME - A.I.F." etched into the coin.

My uncle is terminally ill and I have offered to try to find descendants of George Cousin, so we can pass the coin to them (preferably before my uncle's passing - given 3 months in March 2017).

My research has found this soldier, George Arthur John COUSIN, born 1899 in Adelaide, who was a farmer from Bute, South Australia.

George married Maude Agnes GUTHRIE in 1926 at Norwood, South Australia and together they two children, Ivan George COUSIN, born 08 Nov 1926 at Fullarton, South Australia and Margaret Joan COUSIN born in 1928 at Rose park, South Australia.

I seem to have come to a dead end and am hoping someone can help me find George Cousin's decendents for the purpose previously stated, thank you. - Andrew Fowler
