PRIVATE WINCKLER.
Private George Winckler, of the 2nd Battalion (wounded) is 24 years of age, and the only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Winckler, of Darlinghurst. He was born in Sydney and was educated at the Sydney Grammar School, the University and Ballarat School of Mines. Private Winckler gained his military experience at the University Scouts, and Ballarat Militia Regiment. He is well known in Sydney musical circles.
