My Grandfather

George Russell enlisted in Melbourne in 1915 and ended up in France.
His health was not good and he spent multiple periods in hospital. He moved to Sydney after the war and worked through the Depression despite his poor condition. He died early in 1947 and is buried in Woronora cemetry. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet him and my father, also a serviceman in WW2, did not tell us much about him.
