OBITUARY
MR. HAROLD FRENCH
The death of Mr Harold French occurred at Launceston on Wednesday after a serious illness. The late Mr. French was the youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs. Samuel French, Tonganah, and was well known on the North East as a builder. For many years he resided at Bridport, and for the past 10 years had lived In Launceston. An Anzac, he was discharged because of war injuries. He was also a member of Lodge Dorset. Deceased leaves a widow, formerly Mias K. Barnett, one son (Clyde), ad two daughters (Nancy and Dorothy). The late Mr. French had two brothers and six sisters — Ray (deceased), Norman (North Queensland), Mrs. Correa (deceased), Mrs Robertson (deceased), Mrs Gundry (Torquay), Mrs Blake (Melbourne), Mrs Rounds (Camperdown, Vic.), Mrs W. Millwood (Scottsdale). The funeral of the late Mr. French will take place at Carr Villa this afternoon, the service being conducted by the Rev. W. H. MacFarlane.
