The Glanville Family from Nowra, NSW contributed three brothers who served during the First World War: 39 Trooper Charles Henry Glanville, 5102 Private Septimus Douglas Glanville and 6691 Sapper Cedric Richard Glanville.
LCpl Charles Henry Glanville, served with the 5th Light Horse Regiment at Gallipoli from July 1915 until the evacuation, excluding a brief period when he was evacuated sick in October. He later served in Sinai and Palestine. He was awarded the Military Medal, which was gazetted in March 1918.
