New Zealand War Grave Project
The following details were added to the New Zealand War Graves Project -
Robert Kiriona was born Te Rauangaanga Kiriona. He was the older brother of hareangiangi Kiriona Hapeta, Amokura Kiriona Coley, Haua Tuhera Kiriona Baker and Paea Kiriona, his younger and only brother. He came from a very distinguished line in Maori terms. He was awarded the Victory Medal and the British War Medal. (contributed by a niece)
