Son of Frederick Alfred Vindin and Adelaide Vindin of Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst, NSW.
Commenced return to Australia on 26 February 1919 aboard HT Northbrook disembarking at Bombay, India on 5 March 1919 and entrained to Calcutta where he embarked HT Janus on 23 March 1919 disembarking on 19 April 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
