Son of John N. and Euphemia KNIGHT, Mooroopna, Victoria
The Rev. H. Clarke, Mooroopna (on advice from the Defence department), broke the mournful news to Mr and Mrs John Knight, on Saturday morning that their son, Pte. Sydney Knight, was killed in action in France, on August 1st. The bereaved parents are old residents of the district and a general feeling of sympathy prevails amongst a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
